This policy explains what Glowing Care does with the details you give us when you ask about live-in care, and what this website stores on your device. We only ask for what we need to call you back and talk about care, and we never sell your details.

Glowing Care Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 12628392, is the data controller for this website. That means we decide why and how your details are used.

What we collect
We only collect what you type into our forms, plus a short consent cookie. Nothing is collected in the background.

If you fill in the form for someone else, such as a parent, you are giving us details about them too. Please only do this if you are acting on their behalf or have their agreement. Information about a person’s health is called special category data, and we treat it with extra care.
To stop automated spam, we also keep a scrambled version of your IP address (it cannot be turned back into the address) for one hour to count how many forms come from one connection. It is not linked to your enquiry.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawing does not affect anything we did before you withdrew. We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not make decisions about you by automated means.

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We keep them to a minimum.

We measure how many people visit the site with Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. It sets no cookies, does not follow you between websites, and does not store personal data, so it runs without asking.
You can change your cookie choice at any time with the “Cookie Preferences” link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
Who we share details with
We share details only with the companies that help us run the site and answer you. They may only use your details to provide that service.

We do not sell or rent your details. We may share them if the law requires it, for example if a court asks.
Our website is hosted on a server in the UK. Resend and Google may handle some details outside the UK. Where they do, UK-approved safeguards apply to the transfer.
How long we keep your details

How we keep your details safe
- Forms are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
- Enquiries are stored in a private part of the website. Only a small number of authorised people can open it, and they must use two-step login.
- The email that tells our team an enquiry has arrived does not contain any care or health details.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the details we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your details
- stop or limit how we use them
- send them to you, or to another provider, in a usable format
- withdraw your consent
Email info@glowingcare.co.uk or call us. To protect your privacy we may ask a question or two to check who is asking before we share or delete anything. It is free, and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy
Please tell us first and we will try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your details, we will update this page and the date at the top.
